I like the upgrade. You can create your own routine, and do not have to keep going back to the main menu. It’s worth the extra $20.00.

Wii Fit plus is a lot of fun. The multiplayer options are great for taking turns with my husband. It is much easier to take turns whether you are in multiplayer mode or just doing regular training.

While an improvement over the original software, my biggest beef was not addressed: Children should not be encouraged to weigh themselves every day. Period. Further, the BMI index should be disabled entirely for children, especially since the program doesn’t take body type and growth stages into account. My muscular low body fat dynamo of a 5 year old registers as overweight. Sure we can (and do) jigger the height to take care of the “problem” but it shouldn’t be a problem in the first place. And what about pre-teen girls putting on midsection weight prior to puberty? Do we really want software that encourages them to take time out every day to be told they are “fat?” And provide them a screen to record their waist measurement? Ideally, a Wii Fit Kids would be offered. Failing this, please don’t tell my 7yo that she is getting too much sleep since she only “needs” about 7 hours.

I was first in line thinking this was going to be a huge seller! Jokes on me. They had tons of them. I can swee why. I was hoping for way more new fun activities maybe throwing in some Pilates. All the same old stuff. yeah okay some new games and I will admit Cycling is fun as is the ‘fu’ dancing. Other than that a total snooze. Even CardioFit which was boring to me was better than this!
